January 16, 2012 · 7:51 AM

Directors from the South Whidbey School Board will spend nine hours at a team-building retreat Monday, Jan. 16.

Every year, the school board gathers for a day-long session to focus on working together and the district’s goals. The

South Whidbey School District has a mission to have every student college and career ready by graduation, and is in the process of defining what that path looks like.

The board also has two new members, Damian Greene and Linda Racicot, who were sworn into office in November 2011.

The retreat is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the conference room of the district office building next to Langley Middle School on Camano Avenue.
