Sno-Isle Libraries to stay closed Thursday due to weather

Officials with Sno-Isle Libraries have announced that all libraries in the system will remain closed Thursday due to unsafe weather conditions.

"We hope to return to our regular schedule Friday," said library system spokesman Ken Harvey.

Libraries in Island and Snohomish counties were shut down early Wednesday due to the snowstorm that's buried much of the Puget Sound region.

Sno-Isle said homebound library users can still access the library district's website to browse for books, CDs, DVDs and other materials and put items on hold for later check-out. Customers can also renew their materials online, and also download digital materials, including music.
