High wind warning issued for Whidbey Island
The National Weather Service office in Seattle has issued a "high wind warning" for the Admiralty Inlet area and Whidbey Island.
A "high wind warning" means damaging winds are imminent, and sustained winds of 40 mph or gusts of 60 mph are likely.
Officials said the warning will remain in effect until 10 p.m. Sunday.
High winds are also forecast for the San Juan Islands.
