Driver in Highway 525 crash now in satisfactory condition | UPDATE

The driver who was hurt in an early morning crash on Highway 525 south of Freeland is in satisfactory condition at Harborview Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said Wednesday.

Craig Justus, 20, was airlifted from the campus at South Whidbey High School after he drove into the back of a logging truck at Scott Road at roughly 6 a.m. Jan. 25.

A State Trooper at the scene of the crash said it appeared that Justus had suffered abdominal injuries in the accident.
