Rep. Bailey to host tele-town hall

February 10, 2012 · 12:27 PM

State Rep. Barbara Bailey will host a telephone town hall on Monday, Feb. 20 and  is inviting her constituents in the 10th District to join in.

Bailey, R-Oak Harbor, will take questions and also give an update on the legislative session. The call-in event follows the format of a call-in radio show, and will run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

“I am really looking forward to hearing from our communities and sharing some information on what is happening in Olympia," Bailey said. "I have found this format to be a convenient alternative for folks who aren’t always able to attend my coffee talks and traditional town hall meetings.”

To participate, constituents can call 1-877-229-8493 and enter code 15431. Once connected, they can ask questions by pressing *3 (star 3) on their telephone keypads.

Questions or comments prior to the event can be sent to Bailey at barbara.bailey@leg.wa.gov. She can also be reached at 360-786-7914.
