Island County looks to fill vacancies on advisory board

A volunteer from Langley, and three others from Whidbey Island, are needed to fill vacancies on the Conservation Futures Citizens Advisory Board.

The Citizens Advisory Board reviews and evaluates applications to purchase, lease, preserve and protect properties that have open space, wetlands, habitat areas, farmland or timberland, and members serve three-year terms.

The fax number is 360-679-7381, and email applications should be sent to pamd@co.island.wa.us.

Application materials are due by 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8. For additional information, call 360-679-7353 or email Dill at the above address.
