Cyber safety is the topic at SWHS

Parents can learn about Internet safety for their children from Detective Ed Wallace of the Island County Sheriff’s Office next week.

Wallace will explain safe and unsafe uses of all things cyber, including cell phones, social networking websites and text messaging.

The South Whidbey Parent Teacher Student Association-sponsored event is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 8 in the South Whidbey High School auditorium. Organizers note that the presentation is for adults and guardians only.
