South Whidbey fire district seeks property survey
March 23, 2012 · Updated 2:37 PM
South Whidbey Fire/EMS commissioners approved a contract for a land survey to be conducted at its Freeland station.
The $2,400 contract was awarded to TMI Land Surveying at the fire district’s previous meeting March 18. Fire Chief Rusty Palmer said the survey was needed to prove the station’s property lines to a neighbor who is suspected of encroaching on the fire district’s land, as well as to prepare for a future communications tower.
