Scuba divers clean Deer Lake

April 3, 2012 · Updated 2:11 PM

Deer Lake will receive a cleanup of the underwater variety Saturday, April 7.

A group of scuba divers called the Salish Explorers plans to be in the public dock area of the Clinton lane from 9 a.m. to early afternoon, pulling up sunken trash from years gone by.

Bryan Berg, one of the divers, said the community is invited to help haul the trash away or otherwise participate in the event. Anyone interested in helping can contact him at ryanberg435@hotmail.com or 425-422-1579.
