Anna Peterson, 30, has been selling at the Molly's Island Garden booth started by her mother since she was 6 years old. “It’s good. it’s great,” Peterson said of opening day sales. The warm weather and dozens of booths attracted a large crowd. Columbia Beach Barbecue, for example, sold out of ribs, hot dogs, chicken and linguiça before 1 p.m., and barbecued artichokes ran out shortly after that.

The Bayview Market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday at Bayview Corner in Langley.
