Democrats hold economic forum in Oak Harbor

John Burbank, executive director of the Economic Opportunity Institute, will return to Whidbey Island as keynote speaker for the Whidbey Island Democratic Club’s economic forum, Sunday, May 20, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Oak Hall, Room 306, at Skagit Valley College in Oak Harbor.

Burbank will discuss what the middle class needs, what the middle class is getting and the disparity between the need and reality.
