Relay for Life meeting set

For the second year in a row, the Whidbey Island Relay for Life takes place at the North Whidbey Middle School in Oak Harbor on June 1 and 2.

The event starts with the “Survivor lap” at 6 p.m. Friday, June 1. There will be a fundraiser and informational meeting at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 24 in the Fireside Room.

Register to walk, sign up as a survivor, talk to Pastor George Brunjes, a grief counselor, and purchase SwissJust natural essential oil products to help with the walk or cancer treatment side effects. For details, call 341-1210.
