Whidbey Island Nourishes is a proud sponsor of the 2012 Simplified Summer Food Program for Children and will be hosting a meal site at the South Whidbey Community Park concessions stand during the summer months.

All youth, ages 18 and under, are encouraged to participate. Meet your friends at the park and enjoy delicious, nutritious sack lunches at no charge.

Lunch will be served Monday through Friday from noon to 12:30 p.m. at the South Whidbey Community Park Concessions stand. The program starts on June 25 and will operate until Aug. 31. Meals will be served each weekday, with the exception of July 4.

Community Park is located in Langley at 5495 Maxwelton Road, on the transit line.

Questions can be directed to Miriam Coates at 221-8819. Information regarding WIN is available online at www.whidbeyislandnourishes.org.
