Ferries debut ‘Save a Spot’

Beginning next week, Washington State Ferries will launch a new reservation system on the Port Townsend-to-Coupeville ferry route.

Dubbed Save a Spot, the new and improved vehicle reservation system will begin Wednesday, June 13. Customers can make summer reservations using the new system beginning June 17.

Customers without reservations will be loaded on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, visit Washington State Ferries’ Save a Spot webpage, www.wsdot.wa.gov/Ferries/Planning/SaveASpot.htm. Customers can also call 888-808-7977 from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
