Huden trial will begin soon

The James Huden trial will begin this afternoon around 1 p.m. with the Island County Prosecutor's opening arguments.

Jury selection lasted from yesterday afternoon until 11:30 a.m. today. Out of a pool of 14 jurors, there are nine men and five women (two of the men are alternates).

Huden is accused of killing Russel Douglas around Christmastime 2003 by shooting him in the back of his head.
