August 7, 2012 · 3:26 PM

The South Whidbey School Board will hear a presentation from supporters of the Shakespeare Festival at a workshop meeting Wednesday, Aug. 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the school board room on the Primary School campus, 5476 S. Maxwelton Road.

Business items on the agenda include a budget extension, Chartwell Food Service, a Good Cheer garden plan and annual goals and themes.

No decisions are made during workshop discussion sessions.

The Shakespeare Festival group presentation will deal with the possibility of using school district property for future festivals. The outdoor festival, presently in progress in the woods in Clinton, is growing and looking for a more suitable location.
