South Whidbey Elementary School library needs volunteers

August 27, 2012 · Updated 11:47 AM

District-wide budget cuts have hit the library at South Whidbey Elementary School. This year, the kindergarten through fifth grade school will be without a librarian. Teacher Val Brown has asked for parent volunteers to prepare the elementary school library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29. Anyone who can help is asked to email Brown at vbrown@sw.wednet.edu.
