Creosote closes Double Bluff
September 14, 2012 · Updated 5:51 PM
Double Bluff beach will be closed from Sept. 17 to Sept. 21 while work crews remove creosote-soaked debris from Double Bluff County Park.
Creosote-treated materials pose a risk to public and environmental health. People shouldn’t disturb the debris because it may be unstable.
Contact Lisa Kaufman, restoration manager at the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, at 360-708-7226 for more information.
