South Whidbey school improvements, levy talks are tonight

Discussion of school improvement plans and a pair of upcoming levies will continue at the South Whidbey School District workshop tonight.

South Whidbey’s principals, superintendent and board members are meeting to work on maintenance and capital levies, as well as to discuss the four schools’ improvement plans. After the workshop, the school board and superintendent will have an executive session to discuss upcoming negotiations with the principals, teachers and classified staff, such as para educators and custodians.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the board room at the South Whidbey Primary Campus, located at 5476 S. Maxwelton Road in Langley.
