State Sen. Mary Margaret Haugen, D-Camano Island, is hosting a series of town hall meetings next week to talk about this year’s legislative session.

Town hall meetings will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday,

April 16, in the Oak Harbor School District Office at

350 S. Oak Harbor St., Oak Harbor; at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at Coupeville High School; and

7 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at the Bayview Senior Center.

“The feedback I get during these community meetings is extremely valuable,” Haugen said.

“The Legislature tackled a lot of important issues this session and it’s important for me to hear the thoughts of the people in my district and get inspiration for future legislation,” she added.
