Port of South Whidbey meeting addresses budget

The Port District of South Whidbey commissioners will convene a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, in the port’s office conference room, located at 1804 Scott Road in Freeland. The special meeting follows an informal workshop beginning at 6 p.m.

A news release states the primary purpose of the special meeting is for the commissioners and staff to work on and review the draft 2013 budget, along with updates and action as appropriate on South Whidbey Harbor and bylaw issues.

The next regular meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, in the meeting room of the South Whidbey Parks & Recreation District office at 5475 Maxwelton Road.
