Falcon girls XC leads GPA honors

South Whidbey’s girls cross country team will outrun you on a 3.2-mile course, then school you on calculus, classic literature and biology. The Falcon girls cross country team had a 3.8 cumulative GPA and placed ninth at the state 1A championship.

South Whidbey’s runners were joined by their boys team counterparts, cheer, girls soccer and boys tennis on the Distinguished Academic Achievement Awards from the WIAA.
