Asbestos abatement approved by South Whidbey Fire/EMS commissioners

South Whidbey Fire/EMS has agreed on a contract to remove asbestos from a pair of its stations.
Lakewood-based Northwest Abatement will take care of the asbestos problems in the Maxwelton and Bayview stations. The contract was worth almost $42,000.
