Puget Sound Partnership will honor three Island County residents and an agency for their “exceptional work in restoring habitat, cleaning up polluted water and engaging in the community in implementing the Action Agenda — the partnership’s regional plan to clean up Puget Sound.”

Nancy Waddell, with the Whidbey Watershed Stewards; Pat Powell, with the Whidbey Camano Land Trust; WSU Beach Waters for their Sound Waters One Day University program; and Christine Longdon, creator of CamOcean Day at Cama Beach on Camano Island, will be honored.

Accolades will be given out Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 10:15 a.m. at the Island County Commissioners Hearing Room, Coupeville.
