School board revises South Whidbey School District employee policy

December 11, 2012 · Updated 2:37 PM

Leaving the South Whidbey School District will be a bit wordier for employees.

The South Whidbey School Board will review its termination of employment policy at a workshop tonight. A business meeting will follow the workshop.

South Whidbey’s new firing policy added language regarding the collective bargaining agreement to its release from contract and resignation clauses.

A legal reference to acts of unprofessional conduct, Washington Administrative Code 181-87, was also included in the policy.
