Lodging industry representative sought by Island County

The Island County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Joint Administration Board. The current vacancy is for a representative from the lodging industry in unincorporated Central Whidbey. Applicants must reside within the area they are representing.

The JAB consists of 19 members representing the lodging industry, tourism organizations and elected officials from the county and incorporated cities of Whidbey Island. The JAB meets on the first Thursday of each month at 11 a.m. Meetings normally run for about two hours and the location alternates between Freeland and Oak Harbor.
