Continental hiker presents talks in Langley

Wander on Whidbey presents a series of talks by Brad Hankins on monumental hikes around the world.

Hankins, son of former Langley City Councilwoman Fran Abel, recently completed a 12-month, 3-continent, 5,000-mile hike, starting with the Araroa trail in New Zealand and eventually including China, Nepal and the Pacific Crest Trail.

His first talk will be Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 6:30 p.m., followed by talks at the same time Feb. 19 and Feb. 26. The location is Wander on Whidbey, 225 Anthes Ave., No. 102. Contact 221-1127 or www.wanderonwhidbey.com.
