Erratic person delays Clinton-Mukilteo ferry

February 22, 2013 · 11:27 AM

A person acting erratically on the Washington State Ferry Cathlamet delayed service for a short time this morning.

Marta Coursey, ferry system spokesperson, said a passenger showed “behavioral issues,” possibly due to the use of a controlled or illegal substance.

The ferry system called the Washington State Patrol who “secured the suspect,” she said. By 7:58 a.m., the ferry system announced the Clinton to Mukilteo ferry was back on schedule. Coursey estimated the ordeal lasted about 20 minutes.
