Power was reported back on in downtown Langley just before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Puget Sound Energy spokesman Joe Harris said 1,600 consumers were hit by the outage.

The power went out shortly before 3 p.m. in the Langley area. Harris said a logging truck brought a power line down on Maxwelton Road, causing the top of a power pole to shear off toward the top.
