South Whidbey Commons hires new program coordinator

The South Whidbey Commons board announced Thursday it has hired Gena Kraha as its program coordinator.
Kraha is known to many on the South End for her work as an AmeriCorps volunteer last year.
In her new job, Kraha will coordinate and develop programming efforts for the South Whidbey Commons, including Friday Night Live, SummerFun, afterschool activities for high schoolers and the common's youth advisory team. She will also look for ways to initiate new programs for families with young children.
