Whidbey incumbent files for state House seat

Incumbent Republican Rep. Norma Smith filed today to run as a candidate in the race for the District 10, Position 1 seat in the state House of Representatives.

Smith was appointed to the House earlier this year after Rep. Chris Strow resigned.

Sarah Hart, an America's Third Party candidate, also filed today as a candidate for the District 10 Senate position, according to Island County elections staff.
