A 74-year-old Oak Harbor man was taken to Whidbey General Hospital after he crashed his truck on Highway 20 near Zylstra Road on Wednesday.

Parker Bond was driving south on the highway when his 1999 Ford Ranger pick-up truck left the road and crashed through trees and other vegetation before coming to a stop.

The State Patrol said alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the accident. The accident is under investigation.
