Rick Larsen files to run for Congress

Congressman Rick Larsen is now officially in the running.

Larsen, a 2nd District Democrat, filed to run for re-election today for his seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, according to elections workers in Coupeville.

His Republican opponent in the race, former Snohomish County Sheriff Rick Bart, filed to run for the House seat on Monday.

Larsen was first elected to the District 2 seat in 2000.
