"Langley Police ReportFriday, Nov. 7: At 12:44 a.m. an officer assisted a sheriff’s deputy who was conducting a traffic stop at Bayview and Marshview roads.At 1:15 p.m. a Langley shopkeeper reported that several people in her store were acting suspiciously. An officer stood by in the store until the subjects left.Thursday, Nov. 6: At 5:14 p.m. a man requested assistance with a vehicle lockout. An officer was able to open the man’s car.Wednesday, Nov. 5: At 7:46 p.m. an officer responded to a commercial burglary alarm. The alarm was found to be false.Tuesday, Nov. 4: At 12:30 a.m. an officer found that the door to a commercial building had been left unlocked. The building was searched and secured.At 11:10 p.m. a middle school employee reported an assault that had occurred the previous day. The case is currently under investigation.At 7:43 p.m. a restaurant employee reported having a problem with a disorderly patron. The male patron was asked to leave the establishment, which he did. The responding officer warned the man against such conduct in the future.At 8:21 p.m. a middle school employee reported that unknown subjects had driven their car onto the middle school track. An officer was unable to locate the vehicle.Wednesday, Nov. 3: At 1:08 a.m. a woman reported that her juvenile daughter had run away. An officer located the girl and returned her to her residence.At 9:35 a.m. an officer located a vehicle which was involved in a hit and run accident the previous night. Since the incident occurred in the county, the matter was referred to the Island County Sheriff’s Office.At 1:47 p.m. an officer located a man with an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The man was taken into custody and transported to jail.At 4:23 p.m. a woman reported finding a briefcase. An office was able to locate the owner and return the item.Monday, Nov. 1: At 11 a.m. an officer, along with fire department personnel, responded to a gasoline spill.At 1 p.m., a woman reported having problems with a neighbor’s dog. The dog continuously barks and often roams onto the reporting party’s property. An officer spoke to the dog’s owner.Between 8:15 p.m. and 8:40 p.m., an officer secured three unlocked doors at three commercial businesses."
