"Judge Jan Coffelt appears to be looking for the rabbit inside this bundle of fur owned by Pam Chapman, who observes with interest. Chapman brought several of her long-haired angora rabbits to a Whidbey Island rabbit show, held Nov. 20 at Bayview Hall. Chapman, who lives in Port Angeles, went home with a best of breed ribbon. Show superintendent Mark Brenner of Langley said 500 rabbits were entered in the show. Rabbits in cages filled the floors, tables and the stage. Spectators could still squeeze through -- but only by a hare.Jim Larsen / staff photo"
