"Grange seeks new members, offers cookbook"

"What's Cooking in the Grange, a cookbook featuring nearly 400 recipes, including one unique to each state, is now available on a prepaid order basis, by calling Elsie Melver of South Whidbey's Deer Lagoon Grange at 321-1325. The local Grange is starting a membership drive so it can bring more community service to South Whidbey Island. Anyone interested in joining or in renting the Grange hall should contact Melver at 321-1325.Deer Lagoon Grange meets on the first Saturday of each month at 1 p.m. in their hall on Bayview Road at Deer Lake."
