The instrument was partially blocking traffic.At 7:49 a.m. a deputy responded to a three-car, non-injury accident at the intersection of Maxwelton Road and Highway 525.Sunday, Jan. 2At 7:26 a.m. a French Road, Clinton, man reported that someone stole a shotgun from his barn.At 8:52 p.m. a Cultus Bay Road, Clinton, woman reported that her 15-year-old son ran away with a girlfriend.Saturday, Jan. 1At 12:32 a.m. a deputy responded to a car versus pole accident on Wintergreen Drive.At 7:15 a.m. a Greenbank store employee reported that someone had broken into the business the night before. The employee was unsure whether anything had been taken.At 10:04 a.m. a deputy responded to a car versus power box accident. Four juveniles were in the vehicle involved.At 12:49 p.m. a Freeland motel owner reported that a female lodger had attempted suicide in one of the rooms. After the woman checked out, the innkeeper entered the room in which she stayed and discovered pills, vomit, and a plastic bag with a rubber band around its base.At 1:30 p.m. a Pioneer Park woman reported hearing numerous gunshots nearby.At 4:43 p.m. a Freeland man reported that someone stole tools from his truck while it was parked on Main Street.At 5:27 p.m. a Greenbank man reported that his neighbor on Smugglers Cove Road was shooting off a homemade cannon.Friday, Dec. 31At 2:38 a.m. a deputy arrested a driver on Honeymoon Bay Road for driving under the influence of alcohol.At 11:56 a.m. a man reported that someone stole a large amount of money from his car while it was in the impound lot of a towing company.Thursday, Dec. 30At 1:11 p.m. a Humphrey Road, Clinton, woman reported her 16-year-old daughter as a runaway.At 10:39 p.m. a Clinton woman reported that her husband had pushed her and thrown a chair through a window.Wednesday, Dec. 29At 11:51 a.m., a Wilson Place, Clinton, woman reported that a man had just tried to abduct her daughter at a nearby barber shop.Tuesday, Dec. 28At 11:08 a.m. a deputy responded to a non-injury automobile accident on Bush Point Road.At 9:27 a.m., an Everett man reported that the boyfriend of his 2-year-old daughter’s mother had been hitting the child on a regular basis.Monday, Dec. 27At 8 a.m. a Clinton resident reported that a 15-year-old had just attempted suicide by taking 16 anti-depressants.At 11:42 a.m. a Langley-area woman requested that a deputy stand by while she recovered some of her belongings from her domestic partner’s home.At 9:03 p.m. a Hobart, Wash. woman reported finding drug paraphernalia in a rental house she owns on Bayshore Drive in Clinton.Sunday, Dec. 26At 12:50 p.m. a Clinton resident reported that a car nearly forced three other cars off the road on its way to the ferry line.At 2:07 p.m. a postal patron reported seeing a man at the Freeland Post Office who looked like a suspected terrorist shown on the television news. The patron reported that the man was acting suspiciously and was looking at the wanted posters.Saturday, Dec. 25At 8:58 a.m., a Paradise Place, Clinton, man reported someone broke into his vehicle and stole some CDs and tools."
