Aaron Elkins presents keynote address to writers

"Bestselling mystery writer Aaron Elkins will present What They Never Told You in Writing 101 from 5:45-6:30 p.m. on March 3 at the South Whidbey High School auditorium. This address is open to the public for a $3 admission fee (free to writers' conference participants) and is part of the Whidbey Island Writers' Conference, being held March 3-5. A book signing opportunity follows the presentation.Elkins is the Edgar Award winning author of 13 novels. He and his wife, Charlotte, have also collaborated on a mystery series and a series involving a fictional art historian.Almost 30 presenters -- authors, agents, editors and publishers -- will lead small groups, classes and workshops at the second annual Whidbey Island Writer's Conference, March 3-5.More information can be found on the Whidbey Island Writers' Association's web site at www.whidbey.com/writers.
