Knickerbocker joins planning in Freeland

"Rocky Knickerbocker has been named by the Island County Commissioners as the newest member of the Freeland Subarea Planning Committee.A business owner and well known community volunteer, Knickerbocker replaces Steve Schrecengost who passed away recently.The Freeland committee submitted the names of Knockerbocker and Herb Hunt, Jr., to the county commissioners. They selected Knickerbocker. Hunt is also active in the planning process, serving on a subcommittee dealing with the central business district.The public is welcome at the committee's next meeting Thursday, March 23 at 7 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Proposed zoning classifications and land use designations will be reviewed."
