Armed robbery suspects arrested

"An armed robbery late Sunday put three South Whidbey men in jail by Monday night and has set the Island County Sheriff's Department investigating the circumstances around the alleged crime.Sheriff's deputies, with the help of the Langley Police Department, arrested Randal Paxton, 20, of Langley , Greg Odle, 29, of Langley, and Troy Teddy, 32, of Langley over the course of four hours Monday night. Law enforcement officers searched rural Langley addresses near Saratoga and East Harbor roads and in Clinton to find and arrest the suspects. According to sheriff's detective-Sgt. Russ Lindner of the Sheriff's Department, the three men allegedly robbed an acquaintance of theirs at gunpoint at about 11:40 p.m. Sunday while driving the roads of South Whidbey.The victim, a 20-year-old Clinton man, claimed the three men held a covered shotgun on him while they relieved him of $120 and some personal possessions. He was later released unharmed in Clinton.Lindner said the three suspects were booked into Island County Jail Monday night and were expected to be charged Tuesday afternoon. Sheriff's detectives are still trying to find the vehicle used in the incident, as well as the alleged weapon. "
