"Photo: Emergency aid workers treat the victims of a car crash Friday on Maxwelton Road.Matt Johnson/staff photoTwo Clinton youths took a trip to Whidbey General Hospital Friday after their car rolled over on Maxwelton Road.According to the Island County Sheriff's Office, Kirsten Berry, 17, lost control of her 1990 Pontiac Bonneville on the curve just past the Maxwelton-Campbell road intersection while driving southbound. The car swerved into the northbound lane, then wobbled in and out of a shallow ditch several times before rolling over. Both Berry and her passenger, Scott Devold, 19, of Clinton, were treated on the scene by paramedics and EMTs for possible neck injuries. They were later transported to Whidbey General. The car was a total loss."
