"Remodeling work at the Bayview Road Shop will leave Island County Commissioner Mike Shelton homeless each Tuesday for a few weeks. On Tuesdays, Shelton sets up an office in the road shop to meet with local constituents so they don't have to travel to the county seat in Coupeville. But remodeling will leave the road shop torn up for about a month, Shelton said this week. There's no place to meet. However, Shelton will gladly make other arrangements to meet with South Whidbey residents somewhere in their own back yard. Anyone who wants to set up a meeting should call 321-5111 and ask for the commissioners' office."
