LMS graduates Class of 2000

"Langley Middle School's eighht grade Class of 2000 will graduate Friday, June 9 at 8:40 a.m. in the school's gymnasium.For South Whidbey students and parents, eighth grade graduation is a major event, attracting about 1,000 onlookers to the gymnasium.Principal Greg Willis reminds parents that the old bus barn parking lot will be off limits that morning because the buses will still be transporting kids. But parking will be available in the WICA parking lot and across the street in the CMA church lot.Highlights of the graduation ceremony will include the student speakers, Kilian Moote, Katie Riggs, Colleen Johnson and Jonathan Rosenberg, who have displayed a wide range in leadership in academics, community service and athletics.In addition, this will be the last graduation for long time Assistant Principal Bob Alexander, who is retiring."
