Double Bluff Road was closed Wednesday morning after a forklift fell off a truck near Cattail Lane.

The wayward forklift broke through a split-rail fence and then slid down a steep embankment. No one was hurt in the accident.

A front-loader was later brought in the pull the forklift back up to the roadway.

Double Bluff Road is expected to be reopened later today.
