Southend Ironmen conquer Canada

Congratulating the winners is Katy Gordon, Curt's daughter.Brandon Henry and Curt Gordon have returned after competing in Ironman Canada in August. The two men finished the 2.3-mile swim, 113-mile bicycle ride, and marathon run that comprise the Ironman race in less than 13 hours. Gordon finished the race 402nd overall and 46th of 240 in the 40-44-year-old age group. His overall time for the race was 11 hours, 15 minutes, 42 seconds. Henry finished 728th overall and 44th out of 157 in the 45-49-year-old age group. His time was 12 hours, 8 minutes, 52 seconds. "
