Skills Center hosts family night

"Families of students from all 14 school districts, including South Whidbey, are invited to Sno-Isle Skills Center's Family Night on Oct. 26, 6:30-8 p.m. Visit the technical public high school to meet the instructors and take a tour to learn but the program offerings.Dinner will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m. in Le Bistro, the restaurant run by the Culinary Arts program, at a cost of $4/$2.50. Proceeds will fund student scholarships.Sno-Isle offers half-day job training for juniors and seniors in 24 technical programs, including aviation technology, computer/Web programming, dental assisting and fire service technology. It is located at 9001 Airport Rd. off Kasch Park Road south of Boeing's Everett plant. For more information call 425-348-2220. "
