"Dick Trefts, member of the Whidbey Island Chapter of Puget Sound Anglers, handles the business end of the pipe as thousands of young chinook salmon are poured into their holding pen at the Langley Small Boat Harbor. The city provides the space and the anglers will raise the fish until it's time to release them into Puget Sound next March. The state Department of Fish and Wildlife transported the 15,000 fish to Langley on Tuesday from the Marblemount hatchery. The snglers' other salmon enhancement project at Possession Point Bait Company will receive its next shipment of baby coho salmon in January. "
