"Bring your boxed holiday gift to Freeland this year and let the Soroptimist International Club of South Whidbey wrap it for you. All money raised from the project will help support local charities. Club members will be at the Freeland Visitor's Center at 1640 Main Street throughout the month of December providing a holiday gift wrapping service with a varied selection of paper and ribbon. You can wait for the gifts to be wrapped or leave them and come back at a more convenient time to pick them up.Gift wrapping dates are: Dec. 9, 16, and 19-20, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.; and Dec. 22-23, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Soroptimist is a business women's service organization which supports local charities. One of the club's focus projects this year is the Women in Transition program at Skagit Valley College. The Soroptimists also contribute to scholarship funds, CADA, In A Pinch Crisis Center and the South Whidbey Youth Center. "
