"Learn all there is to know about crabbing at the next meeting of The Fishin' Club Thursday, Jan. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bayview Senior Center. At the club's last regular meeting Wildlife Agent Ralph Downs spoke and answer questions. It was obvious from the questions that one major concern is the future of crabbing around Whidbey Island. At the Jan. 4 meeting members and the public can express concerns and suggestions to the head shellfish biologist for the Washington State Fish and Wildlife Commission, Steve Burton. Burton works with commercial crabbers, sports crabbers and tribal crabbers and is involved with making many of the rules and regulations that come out of Olympia. All citizens interested in crabbing regulations should attend this meeting. "
