Falcons home after losing to Granite

"In Friday baseball action the South Whidbey Falcons dropped an 11-1 decision to the Granite Falls Tigers.The Falcons actually jumped on the Tigers in the first inning to take an early 1-0 lead. Brian Gabelein walked and was moved over to second when Jim Davis was hit by a pitch. After a passed ball Gabelein was sent home on a sacrifice fly by brother Tim Gabelein for the Falcons' only run and only RBI.Granite scored 4 in the first and 4 in the second to build up an 8-1 lead off starter Brian Gabelein. Tristen Johnson came into the game in relief on the mound and had a fine outing giving up zero earned runs over 4 innings and striking out 4 Granite hitters.Next league action is Wednesday, March 28 at home against Sultan. Game time is 3:30. "
